Lille - Day four, five and six

Day four, five and six,,,

the two teams come together- there was a lot of talking and negotiating - what to keep what to change,,,

Chris starts on the water for the model- painstaking but worth the effort
he filled the canal with pva glue after it had been painted blue- once the glue dries clear it gives a good effect of water

Simon working on the context of the model-
his precision and organisation for the model was impressive

Andrew and Dipte make alot of trees for our green corridor

Elody and here wonderful perspectives

the signed agreement of our final concept and design-

the test plan-

As the glue starts to dry we gradually saw our canal appear

Concept diagrams, one of many ,,,,

The almost complete model-

We were then kindly taken for drinks by Robert and Jamie at an Irish bar in town,
thank you very much- we all had a great time- testing and tiring - but great!

Afew of us then went on for French food- we deserved it after the trek to get there!!
-thanks Lucas x

I would like to say thank you to all the students of Lille School of Architecture for their hospitality and patients with the language barrier.  I hope that they were able to learn form us as much as we did from them.
Also a big thank you to the City of Lille and all who gave us this opportunity to design the up and coming Eco Quarter of Lille.

Well done everyone.
