the electric forrest - bedgebury pinetum

the electric Forrest - bedgebury pinetum

on Wednesday night, Simon and i went to the electric Forrest - currently at bedgbury until this Sunday,
personally we loved it (the other kids there loved it too! )

the ticket is £10 for students, and i think it was worth it, a nice stroll through a Forrest - it took us about an hour and a half to go around and experience each section

- many parts of it are interactive- lights reacting to your voice through a mic-one tree per mic- this worked particually well when a group of children were near the mic`s  and it picked up their conversation about their hats, gloves and scarves- so it looked and felt like the tree`s were in fact playfully talking among themselves about their hats, gloves and scarfs!!

-another part required you to hit different drums to get reactions, sound, noises from the trees- kids there loved this part too!

my favourite section was under the old twisted rhododendrons lit up by lanterns- the atmosphere was remarkably different to the rest of the walk- it was beautiful and romantic.

well worth the visit
